Every night, when we go to bed, Do the thought of suffering, starving and abandoned children cross our minds? Do we ask ourselves what will happen to them the following morning?.I don’t think so. In fact, I believe we avoid and push away any concern on the subject. Our being has become so permeated to human suffering that our senses are numb to pay any attention. Can you envision what we could achieve if we just come together in our efforts to alleviate suffering? Can you foresee eradication of social injustice by working together?
Divine Justice We can make a worldwide difference. It is a matter of been truly members of the human race as a whole. I am a Christian, and because of my beliefs I am compel to respect other forms of faith and religious practices; but it is my efforts as a member of Divine Creation that I am able to feel God’s hands driving me and many others to work harder each day to bring peace and justice.
Encouraging others We can read and write thousands of pages about other people suffering and needs; although it has not changed worldwide opinion and participation to respond to the needs of others. There is only way to come together without regards of our religious, ethnic, age or gender background, COMMITMENT and UNDERSTANDING, (Stewardship and Service).
Making a Difference Each and one of us must decide how we want to help, -- don’t just give a financial contribution, (but don’t forget either to give); we must get involved physically, -- plan our time, so involvement can be savoir; we must choose a theme -- what need compels you the most; speak to your family a/o friends about your concerns, -- conscience for others needs requires everyone participation; focus your attention, -- don’t seek out unreachable projects, find something you can do right away (don’t leave for tomorrow what can be done today.)
